Asari Is Enjoying “Immunity”: SSS Summons El-Rufai Over His Recent Statement

Posted: January 24, 2014 in Uncategorized

The SSS is threading the part of the now biased Nigerian Police and this is why we at Nigeriaonpoint.Com are in support of APC’s directive to its members to block bills from Presidency until sanity is restored!

Months back, ex-Niger Delta militant, Asari Dokubo threatened that if President Jonathan is not in Aso Rock from 2015, Nigeria will burn. In his words: “blood will flow”. Vanguard Newspaper in its front page said it is time for the Security Agencies to call Asari to order, but nothing was heard from them.

Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo even mentioned this in his letter to Jonathan because other past leaders in the country are worried that no one has thought it wise to call Asari to order. Asari cannot even claim that he was misquoted because there is LIVE video evidence of his threats.
Was the SSS sleeping when Asari was speaking? Now they are going after Mallam ElrRufai…

The State Security Service has invited ex-Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, to appear at its headquarters in Abuja on Friday over a statement attributed to him in the Thursday edition of a national daily newspaper.

El-Rufai, who is Deputy National Secretary of APC, was said to have been invited to clarify the statement in which he said that “the next election are likely to be violent and that many people are likely going to die.”

He was also quoted as having said that “the only alternative left to get power is to take it by force.”

Reaction to the invitation by the SSS
“El-Rufai called the Director-General of SSS and told him that he had a pending suit against the service over the Anambra State governorship election, as such he would not go to the SSS office,” said his media adviser, Muyiwa Adekeye.

SSS is now warning that it would deal with politicians and individuals making threatening and any provocative statements ahead of the 2015 elections.
So, what happened to those who were making provocative statements in favour of President Jonathan?
